You see, companies are willing to pay good money to ordinary people who can "act" like customers by interacting with the sales staff.
This works out great for people who are organized, like to shop, have an eye for detail and like to talk and meet other people, plus it can be a nice second income (or possibly a first income) opportunity. And, you can work from home while retaining the option to take only the jobs you like most and that fit into your schedule.
But the downside is, with so many mystery shopping companies out there these days, it can be almost impossible to learn how to become a mystery shopper on your own. And, if you add the scams on top of that, it can be downright frustrating figuring out where to start.
